 Guest Suites 

 

There are four guest suites in the mian house; one on the ground floor and three on the second floor. Guest suites on the second floor are accessed either by the stairway, or the elevator located just outside guest suite #4 on the ground floor.

 

• Guest suite #4 (Asian room) has a North facing view of the fields and mountains.

• Guest suite #3 (Egyptian room) is adjacent to the elevator on the second floor, has a barrier free bathroom and a North facing view of the fields and mountains.

• Guest suite #2 (Greek room) is across the hall from guest suite #3 and has a South facing window overlooking the patio and private lake.

• Guest suite #1 (Thai room) is at the head of the stairway and is South facing with views of the patio, private lake and mountains. #1 also has a North facing view of the mountains from the bathroom.

 

The guest suites are all spacious and have many common features:

 Guest suite #2 has a large bathroom with a marble shower and a very large spa tub. The second floor also has a large linen and supplies storage room to support the guest suites. Guest suite #1 is separated from the others on the second floor by an open bridge across the living room and entry. The bridge is carpeted and has custom balustrades on both sides.

  

Ballroom/Ballet Studio

 

1. 655 sq ft. room with a 14’ ceiling, crown moldings and a select, cushioned, solid Ash floor.

 

2. Two walls mirrored to a heights of 8’ with a hardwood ballet bar.

Long-Term Guest or Caretaker Apartment 

 

The apartment occupies the entire second floor of the West wing. It is 2,000 sq. ft. in area and has two bedrooms, large living room, formal dining area, eat-in kitchen, one full bathroom and a powder room. The apartment has a separate entrance and mailing address. Various rooms provide excellent views in all directions. The ceiling height is 9’ with crown moldings thoughout. The floors are select grade solid Ash. All windows can be opened providing excellent cross ventilation. Because of the large number of windows (10), the apartment has very good natural light. The windows include 5 with 3 large sections each, 4 with 2 sections each and a glass door to the balcony that has 2 – 3 ft wide sidelights. All windows are fitted with wooden plantation shutters. The entire apartment is heated by hot water from a boiler in the equipment room #2, and has a central vacuum cleaning system.

 

 Living Room 

·       An open room measuring 25’ x 35’ with a balcony on the South side that overlooks the waterfall and private lake, and affords an excellent view of the nearby mountains of the National Forest. The balcony is protected by a concrete balustrade.

 

·         Remote control, gas fireplace with a raised marble hearth.

 

·         Recessed lights thoughout.

 

·         Large windows providing views to the East, West and South.

 

·         Adjacent and open to the formal dining area and the kitchen.

·         Wood finish kitchen cabinets with a laminate countertop. Cabinets of kitchen bar and eating area separate the kitchen from the living room and dining area.

·         Two large bedrooms, one with North and West views and one with North and East views.

 

·         One bedroom has a large walk-in closet while the other has a wide closet with mirrored sliding doors.

 

·         Both bedrooms access the common full bathroom though solid pocket doors with special locking mechanisms.
